iPads not connecting to JAMF since disabling WiFi Privacy

I disabled WiFi privacy last week after seeing a thread on here. However, since this our iPads have been failing to check in with JAMF school. After some Googling and testing it seems that this is a direct result of disabling WiFi privacy. Upon connecting to an SSID which has WiFi Privacy enabled everything seems to work fine.

 

I have a secondary SSID which I keep disabled for this kind of scenario, however, I'm unable to get the iPads to connect to this over the primary, I would disable our primary SSID over night and hope that the devices check in given time. However, we're a residential school so doing this would kick the kids and staff off over night

 

Has anyone else come across this?
