Withdrawn with an advisory for any school that has used it to not upload their census to Collect, was going to do mine this afternoon, glad I saw that.

I know many people are getting more and more concerned about SIMS and CAPITA in general and this has been going on for some time (years).

Also a lot of you have been using these incidents as part of the reason for jumping ship and moving to another MIS and I am beginning to feel this way too.

I am leaving patches longer and longer to install (hoping the 'bad' ones disappear from SOLUS eventually)... I am quite literally scared of updating my SIMS now, I believe I'm very lucky to only be supporting one small Junior school and have to admit that I ignore most patches that don't deal with an issue that specifically concerns our set-up...

I also have to admit that I have not even upgraded to Summer yet as I believe we can run the census on Spring (so I am hoping that after the census I can look at what patches are absolutely necessary).

For anyone not paying attention / losing the will to live...we're nearly up to Consolidated Patch 4(due sometime Friday).[26089 although, confusingly, referred to elsewhere as 26088 - which I think was CP3].

We won't get this deployed before the weekend - so that's another week - you'd think once you've spent forever getting all of those Es and Qs removed you'd be done...

Not only that, we've been told that our census has been benevolently pushed back by one week due to these technical issues.

Into half term, when no-one who does this work, works.

Stunning.
