Hi

I am looking for touchscreen recomendations as an alternative to projector and smartboard combinations in our classrooms and some offices

Has anyone gone down this route and If so do you have any brands/companies you would recommend for this kind of thing.

Also if alternatively you would advise against this for any reason please let me know

Thanks

All are generally happy to provide a board for you to try out. We had seven different screens in for demoing. Try them out with your staff and see what they think. Promethean's seemed quite good. The boards themselves are all pretty much the same - large and tough - it's the software and features which differ. Ask them about software licensing too as some won't let you use their software on computers that aren't connected to the hardware without annoying messages popping up occasionally. I've used Genee in the past, but the company seems to have had a number of issues over the years so I'd avoid them now.

We've bought a few Vestel screens through CC Communications and have been happy with them so far. They've gone into some of our secondary and primary sites. The pricing is very competitive.

Hi,

Happy to discuss the options we have available in our BenQ interactive touchscreen range, each screen comes complete with an Android Operating System, casting technology as well as cloud management for the devices as standard. Our screens range from 55" to 86", all of our screens are covered by a comprehensive de/re-install on site warranty as well. We also have demo units available or we can arrange a remote demo for you.

Thanks, BenQ_ChrisM

Hello, you are searching for some great touchscreen solutions for offices and classrooms and the first brand came in my mind is Viewsonic of the rest brands. I am already using a business monitor of this brand. They provide pleasant interactive displays for education and business infrastructure.

Different sizes of screens are available starting from 55 inches to 98 inche and you will have many options to choose among them.

You can find out their all panels information here: https://viewsonic.com/me/products/viewboard/viewboard.php

Well, this is my recommendation but you are entirely free to choose any brand which you find affordable and worthy.

We use Iiyama screens but only to display and feed touch back to the PC - we don't use any other features of the screens so can't comment on anything else.

One thing to consider - touchscreens should be mounted lower down than non-touch or projector screens (so that users can reach the top!). If it's something you're considering then bear that in mind too - viewing angles can change a lot by dropping the screen 200mm!
