Andy2789 Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 We have got a Promethean Board (APT-70) that has stopped recognising USB connection. It's fixed to the wall, so it's not a case of cables being pulled out all the time. We have tried power draining, changing the USB, plugging directly into the board, different devices etc. On no device does it detect the board and appear as a device, the board is displaying fine via HDMI, VGA etc no problem and playing sound, there is just zero interactivity. We have had a response from Promethean which says it will cost £700 to come and look at the board, when it's just the USB I find that a little steep! Are there any local (to midlands) that offer to look at / repair boards? Or any suggestions!
peferraro Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 That panel doesn't need the activdriver, you do need a connection in device manager to have touch. Have you tried the steps in this support article https://support.prometheanworld.com/article/1039/. If you have an still having an issue, please contact our support team for help.
