Printers default to duplex printing

I added printers onto our network and deployed via Global Policy.

 

For some reason the printing always defaults to duplex printing. I've set the options in Printer settings on the Printers on the server itself yet they still show up on workstations as duplex.

I feel that I'm missing something obvious here.

In the printer's properties on the server what does it say in both of these:

 

Properties > General > Preferences

 

and

 

Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults

 

Also make sure in:

 

Device Settings > Administrator > Lock Settings

 

Duplex isn't ticked...

I'm not sure if changing a setting on the server instantly changes it on the user's device, but how about on a test machine delete the printer and see if it picks up the new duplex settings or not when the GPO kicks in and installs the printer?

Printer Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults. Anything set in there will apply as default for users. Chane in there and you are sorted.
