[sims] Unable to export General Student List to excel

Hi,

 

My school has had an IT upgrade but seem to have lost the ability to export the SIMS General Student List to excel. Has anyone any ideas how to solve? Other reports run ok! The error states "unable to Launch excel"

don't know but if you open excel first then run the report will it work?
