[bromcom] Problem re importing data from .csv sheet

Hi

 

I’ve been encountering problems with importing data into Bromcom from a .csv sheet, which is based on an export from SIMS. I’ve performed this procedure on numerous occasions recently, but for some reason this particular import is failing to map the students correctly, and for the life of me I can’t see why (please see attached screenprint).

 

On this occasion I could do it manually as there’s only a small amount of data involved, but I’d need to know what to do should the situation arise at any time in the future. If anyone could assist/explain, I’d be very grateful.

Hi CarterUSM, if you are able to contact support then we will happily investigate this for you. As it is not matching on Student, I would check whether the admission number has been changed by Excel, if there are preceeding zeros in the system these are stripped out. If you have checked this and they do match, then please drop us a line at Support and we will be happy to investigate this for you further.
