Optimus_Primal Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 IPEVO V4K Ultra High Definition 8MP USB Visualiser deployed these around the whole site. Staff love them.
PrimaryNetMan Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 Another vote here for IPEVO, in the process of rolling out IPEVO DO-CAM across 2 sites. Portable, USB, 4K, Auto Focus and work seamlessly with Chromebooks if you're using them.
sigma Posted July 11, 2021 Posted July 11, 2021 I've never had a problem with any kit old or recent from Aver. I have my own personal Hue which is now quite old, but we've used it thoughout the pandemic with a desktop.
stevewill6 Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 HueHD here got about 25 of them. The software is OK, Managed to get a site license for free from Hue after speaking to them about network deployment. They work with the camera app built in to windows, also work well for teams meeting video/audio. Only complaint staff have is there is no optical zoom, they have been given a Aver U50 1
slugshead Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 We have one Epson ELPDC21 that gets shared around by teachers, Works perfectly, quality is great but it's damn expensive
Oaktech Posted July 12, 2021 Posted July 12, 2021 The TTS ones are cheap and cheerful. Software is deployable by SCCM but not directly by GPO.

Back in my junior tech days when Tesco did the computers for schools vouchers, lots of these appeared and they were absolute junk. Never touching anything they make again

Never touching anything they make again That's up to you, but I've got about 150 of them and not a single one has gone wrong. Yes the software is a bit trcky to deploy, but they're cheap, simple, and we've not had any issues with them.
