[ipad] iPad in lost mode with no wifi (Jamf)

Hi

Anyone have the issue of setting a device into Lost mode, then it coming back in and has no wifi.

Now Jamf cant send any commands.

 

No I have a device with work on it that I can get off because of this.

Get a lightning to ethernet adapter- has saved me many times!

 

As long as allow Usb devices when locked is enabled in MDM this should help

Either option you will need to buy/have some kit already and it doesn't always work.

 

Edit: One thing we do before putting it into lost mode is to send the clear passcode command first.
