Anyone else have this issue, where the device is stuck at 'Factory reset action for P2****** is in progress.' when deprovisioning? I have just got off the phone to google support and was told its a bug and there is nothing I can do in the meantime!!! The device in question is directly connected to the internet and has full access, yet will not remove from the enterprise. Is there any other way of getting this thing off the enterprise?

Background: Was asked to setup a list for the staff to add trips events etc with some custom areas. All setup working great. set list to calendar view for ease of access. Now staff asking for access to said list/calendar to outlook. SharePoint lists can't be added to outlook calendars! Now my thought was, if I create a new Calendar on SharePoint and add all the extra custom columns, export the list and them import to new calendar I would be on a winner...... NOPE, can't be done. I have tried the following: Opened exported list in Excel and tried to export Table to a SharePoint list, This will only create a new list on SharePoint and will not let me write to new calendar. Any ideas of my next move is?

Hi, Has anyone actually managed to get this working, its driving me mad. Error on the Chromebook Sophos Chromebook User ID is testUTMconnectionError error:{status":-1,"statusText":"Network error","error":true} I can access both admin and user portals from the device and can ping from a terminal window on the chromebook. I have followed the SSO how to from Sophos, yet I still get this error? HELP!!!!!!

HI, bit of odd one this but I'm hoping someone may have come across the same. I am about to move into a school that is using gsuite, but they did not use Google Cloud Directory Sync to create accounts they where created manually. Is there anyway I can use Google Cloud Directory Sync and it merge with current gsuite accounts? Thanks

I have solved this issue by adding a WINS server. This seems to add the suffix to the clients and all dns queries now resolve.

This might work, as I am using this on locked down units and normal access to network setting is restricted!

Hi, This is doing my NUT in. I have setup a RRAS VPN on the server, and can connect and ping remote lan IP address's no problem I can also resolve the FQDN of servers on the remote lan, but I can not get it to use the short suffix for the servers, it will not resolve at all. This is an issue for remote users with mapped drives! I have checked that the VPN client is getting the VPN servers DNS servers and that the VPN adaptor is the highest in the network Interface metric order. Any ideas?

Hi I have been tearing my hair out on this. I had seen this a few time before lockdown v3 and now all students are back working from home I am seeing it happen more and more Windows 10 and office 365 app Using Onedrive files on demand Example of the issue When opening files from OneDrive eg a word doc, the Word 365 app launches to a blank screen! Open the file online no issues Also sometimes complains about saving new docs back to OneDrive. I have tried the following Full repair to the local office 365. Logged out of 365 apps and tried logging back in again. Turned off OneDrive logged out and removed local files. logged back in and chose a new folder location Any help would be amazing at this point. I agree with most of you about it being down to the staff, but that said I have been also asked by the school leaders to just set up a global out of hours reply. There is a third party bit of software that can do what you're asking https://www.codetwo.com/out-of-office-manager/ I have tried it and its rubbish, crashes all the time... but you might have more luck than me. I am currently testing (successfully so far) using MS flow to do this, and will report back once I have tested some more.

Just simple things like word/excel docs ie n:\networkpath\document.docx I have tried all sorts. Interesting when someone links in outlook, those links will not open in outlook online either, even though the link is shown as a file:// hyperlink

As the title show, does anyone know how to achieve this I am trying to convert all the staff away from outlook and to use outlook online. The staff here like to share local network links, and I am yet to find out how to do it. Has anyone managed this or found an add-in that works? Thanks

What devises, if any do you supply to your year 7-8 students? 2. At time of leaving, do your students return the units or get to keep them? 3. Do the parents pay for the units or do the school provide the funding? I would appreciate anyone that answers, and if possible let me know what school you are from..... Thanks in advance

As the topic title describes We have a bursar that is leaving, they are also the DPO. Here lies my predicament, the new bursar does not start for a month or so, so we would be without a DPO for a while; this I can live with. But, the bursar that is leaving may have data; albeit encrypted, on a device or usb drive. Does anyone here have a template letter or form, that I could use to get the bursar to sign agreeing to delete/destroy all data. Or any other advise Cheers

I have implemented a very simple help desk using O365 Sharepoint lists and flow for the email notifications. not looked into reporting yet, but it wont be too hard. Pretty easy to make a power app for it too.
