SIMS - has anyone downloaded the 6 csv for setting up Microsoft Teams?

Would really appreciate any help from anyone who has got the information from SIMS to create csv's needed to set up microsoft teams for their school.

I am not usually in IT so please bear with me if this is something simple!

I know how to export info from SIMS to a csv file like first name, last name etc but where would I find SIS ID and school SIS ID information? Is this on SIMS or elsewhere

if you use the slaamanderSDS tool this will get you close. (it'll make the CSVs for you and pull the correct info.)

don't do the upload (the final part in the salamander program) just quit. Then check the csv files (in the folder you specified) by hand and upload to the sds webpage. (after you set that up)

Further to this, I am really struggling to find any information on how to connect to the online version of SIMS.

Can anybody shed any light please?

 

I have run the Salamander exe, choose the extract to data file option, clicked saver and continue. Have selected the SIMS option in the drop down list, and it then asks for database details for what I believe is the locally hosted version of SIMs.

How do I point the software to the online version?

 

Any help very much appreciated.
