Moving form LA broadband to new supplier in cheshire

If you can afford it LGFL have been the best I’ve seen and I work across Cheshire, Lancashire, Liverpool & Sefton. Any others have always had issues and problems

Hi @sarge is this part of the Rural Gigabit Connectivity scheme funded by DCMS and the DFE? If it is then expectations will be very different to a leased line as there is normally a lot of installation work to do.

 

The reason I ask is that we've just signed up a few schools via this scheme in Cheshire.

I can 2nd for LGFL. they are not the cheapest, but never had any issues with there service. Plus you get the added benefit of all the extra boltons.

My only real issue I had with LGFL was when I asked if there were any of the extra resources and services I could remove and what that would entail price wise, I was told it was all or nothing and I could just "not use them" which wasn't really the answer I was looking for. So that really put me off going with them when I had to make a decision on what to do. Other than that I have no experience of their services, though the people there seem nice!

Very happy LGfL customers here too. These days @JohnJackson has made things so much better than the old days. They are more flexible too if pricing is an issue.

I’d be happy to provide pricing and info, contact me directly or drop me a pm. If it’s the rgc scheme, I think you need to place your order soon due to the deadlines. Most schools use the CCS broadband framework for this, which were also on.
