[1909, ou] Microsoft Edge works best with the latest Windows Updates Error : Loop

I'm testing a new Windows 10 build.

It's fully patched using WSUS - there are no more updates to install!

 

When I go online to download and install the latest version of Edge it downloads the installed and when I run it I get the following message:

 

"Microsoft Edge works best with the latest Windows Update"

 

It appears I'm not the only one:

 

But I'm unable to find a solution.

 

Anyone any ideas?

Are you suggesting that Microsoft have cocked up another thing recently?

Sorry - not terribly helpful, I know.. I'm on the brink of deploying Edge for willing guinea pigs to use instead of Chrome - so hopefully this gets fixed sharpish

It could be an issue with my WSUS...

 

I'm looking in to if any updates required have been released to the test device.

Your lucky just to get that message. I tested it in Hyper-V on 1909 and it crashed the whole VM every time!
