As briefly mentioned we are currently looking to re-engineer aspects of our product offering and are looking to consult with a senior architect who has extensive internet/asp/social networking background to help ensure we follow the right direction on this critical development. We’re looking for an individual with experience of building applications supporting millions of users globally. Our current service gets over 65 million daily hits, which we forecast will increase at least 100% per annum over the next 2 -3 years. Experience required includes • CTO / IT Director experience ideally in an internet based business • Knowledge of both Microsoft and open source technologies • Experience of overall technical responsibility for an ASP migration or similar • Understanding of resourcing options (off shore / in-house etc) • extensive internet/asp/social networking background • 5 – 10 years technical architect experience. • Minimum 3 years experience on globally hosted applications supporting users > 5million • Experience of Classic ASP > .Net migrations • Database design experience on geographically distributed systems > 5million users • Detailed knowledge of web2 tools • Detailed knowledge of enterprise portal solutions • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft and Open Source Nice to have: • Experience in Agile enablement and Agile methods. • MOSS 2007 • General awareness and exposure to authentication & SSO in web based environments (AD/Shibboleth) • Understanding of software integration in Highly Available environments. (Clustering/Load Balancing) • Single Sign on If you can pass us a candidate, whom we place, there will be rewards!!
