IT Booking System

Hi;

 

I need to setup an online booking system for Laptops iPads etc. Need something simple and effective?

We have 4 trolleys of 15 Laptops, 9 iPad 4s in a Charging Station and 19 iPad Mini Ones loose :-(

 

We have Office 365, but don't use Teams yet.

 

Any help would be great.

We just use a google sheet and staff can edit the document

We've used https://mrbs.sourceforge.io/ for the past few years for booking out several laptop and ipad trolleys. Links into AD for staff to book out kit.

We use http://www.roombookingsystem.co.uk - it’s very easy to use.

 

If you have IT Suites it can pull the data from SIMS or other MIS and cancel bookings which clash due to cover/reforming. It’s been great for us.

Thanks, have any of them got G-suite integration ie users can login with their accounts or a SAML

Personally I'm all just for a shared google sheet but appreciate some people like the more "professional" looking types

Not that I am aware of. But it's only a username and password to login, so, if you can save a ton of money it seems a fair trade off.

What's the rough cost of this?

 

We pay £575 per year for school plus plan including MIS integration.

 

Some may say that’s expensive and others may not.

 

For the man hours it saves though and knowing the timetable data is always correct on the booking system makes me feel

It’s worth every penny.

 

We tried one of the manual systems before and the issue is one of my staff would spend literally days putting the timetable in then someone would be reroomed and it would need to be checked and updated.
