So out of curiosity, has anyone actually ever heard of ICSI or this certification before?

From a bit of googling, the only things I can find are adverts for this being free and to me, it seems like the £500 tag is more as a "Oooh such a deal" than what it'd actually be worth, and seeing as the company doesn't look very big and substantial, will an employer care about this cert?

 

You're probably better off doing a course on pluralsight for the CompTIA Security+if you just want to expand your knowledge, no?
