Despite multiple suggestions we use the

we wound up just using the the default/built in "15_Xylophone aigu" for lesson changeover.

During lockdown/bubbling we had different lesson change times for each year group, so the sounder became a "Year X. Time to move on on, Year X". Initially narrated by Microsoft Sam and then by the Head of Years once we pinned them down to record it.

I did record a few of the messages to be used at one place. I recorded an "Errrr, its grim outside so wet break. Stay indoors" because someone wanted a wet break announcement but no one would record one themselves, no one would say what they wanted, and they wanted something 'different'. Then I recorded one of me saying "BING BONG It is wet break" as someone complained that they needed a warning before a message was played to know to listen.

 

Depends on your school how acceptable slightly off the wall messages are though.

Reminds me of the recordings for our auto attendant. No one would voice them, no one would even script them, so I did it.

 

Cue complaints about my pronunciation and it not being bilingual.

 

Now they want it re-done, I’ve said that someone else will have to do it. Thus, it has not been done!
