How to print a twitter thread so it's clear

Thread Reader can't help with this one as it is just a status update with lots of justifiably angry replies.

 

You'd be best to unroll everything manually then print the whole webpage to pdf I reckon.

The Thread Reader App will only unroll Twitter threads where the initial tweeter has created the thread by tweeting multiple replies.

 

The chain is broken when another Twitter user replies to in the thread.

 

Taking another approach, I can create a long [1366 x 10968] PDF (that's a bit grainy, sorry about that)

 

So, will this do?

In several stages.

 

1. In Chrome, I used Full Page Screen Capture to get a snapshot of as much of the thread as I could. I then copied the image to the clipboard.
   
2. I pasted the clipboard contents into IrfanView and cropped the irrelevant Twitter content to the left and right of the captured thread.
   
3. Still using IrfanView I printed the cropped image to a new PDF.

Did you need it as one long PDF or split across multiple A4 pages?

I also found that if you do the screen capture in Chrome then open in "Paint" I can go in to Page Setup -> Scaling and change it to 1 page wide by say 12 pages long and then print to PDF that way.
