Senior IT Engineer / Network Manager required to support a leading Academy in the Derbyshire area for an initial 3-month Period.

Up to £45k Salary Pro-rata depending on experience.

A DBS Enhanced certificate is essential and an immediate start - Ideally by Monday 23rd March.

 

Duties

Providing technical support, 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd line customer facing and remote support.

The Onsite ICT technician will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the following core tasks:

· Resolving staff and student deskside issues e.g. issues with desktop, laptops, projectors, IWB’s etc.

· Proactive administration tasks

· Identifying area wide issues and providing solutions to problems

· Root cause and trend analysis

· Monitoring back-up & recovery procedures

· Ratifying of infrastructure and application software releases and patches

· Server and Network administration, maintenance and remedial work.

 

Core skills

· Active Directory

· Group Policy

· Windows Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019

· Office 365 / Azure Active Directory / SharePoint

· Antivirus Management

· TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, WSUS

· Network Infrastructure support

· HP /Dell Server Hardware Support

· Windows 10

· Knowledge of backup technologies
