We had to Factory reset a bunch of them yesterday and they have the wrong time on them. We would prefer to do it with RADIX for various reasons. I'm assuming they are on the wrong time zone. peferraro Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Hi Fraser, When you do a factory reset with the panel, you will go back to China timezone. At this time we don't have a way of using Radix to manage the panel, I have sent your request to our software team to consider in a future release. Please check our support site for updates. Fraserb82 Posted February 14, 2020 Author Posted February 14, 2020 Hi Pam, Thanks so much for your prompt reply. I have a few more general questions if you don't mind? I know we can now update the Firmware of the boards. However, when I go to do this it tells me an update is available but I have no option to carry out the update, either during the check or when I go to the Manage section I don't have the Firmware Update option. We are running a mix of OPS and Acon1-G. Also, is there a way to remove Opera? I have it in my head that its there to stay but we need to hide it? Can I choose whats on the main screen circle with Radix (by that I mean the circle that has the apps such as Opera, Promethean Store etc) Can I send some sort of test packet to check connectivity (similar principle to ping command on windows). Thanks
DangPro Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 Hi Fraser, Opera cannot be removed from the OPS or ACG. But you can go the main screen where there are icons to launch these programs and delete the icon. The program will still be on the system but they will not have a button to start the program. As to the firmware update it depends on what version of firmware they are currently using. The only way to update the firmware on these devices is using the update program. The update program has an update button. Is this not showing or grayed out? The panel itself does not and if you are using Radix their support can help with these questions. Thanks
