Anyone have any experience with purchasing large images to print out yourself for a whole wall display (6 metres x 3 metres) I've found some larger images on google but they are no where near enough to blow up to that size (pixelated). Thanks!

Depending on what you're trying to achieve, when viewed from a distance the pixelated look can be quite good. I've never made one that large but I've used https://rasterbator.net/ several times to make lifesize prints of various famous people to put on wall displays. It works very well and shows you how many pages you'll need, what size and orientation etc...

PotNoodleTech Posted February 6, 2020 Author Posted February 6, 2020 Exactly that's what I am struggling with. I've just been looking at image websites such as shutterstock but it doesn't actually say what image sizes etc are available.

I'd also make sure that the resolution is high too. Something like this may also help you: online Pixel DPI Calculator I'd say a 20MP image would be minimum for a size of 6m x 3m Also found this which may explain it all better! Maybe i should of changed the word 'crucial' to 'required' In reality a print shop will ask for a 300dpi so they can work backwards if need be. FYI this is for a classroom wall - so actually students could be standing right in front of it - my Epson printer is photo realistic so I was hoping to use a high res image in order to really create a wow factor. This will be the first wall display we have done. Cheers!!
