Xibo and Docker Networking

I am trying to set up xibo in our business and I have ran into a few issues!

First of all can anyone explain how networking works within Docker?

I am trying to connect to my CMS from the machine i want to display the content and it says it cant connect. However when taking a look in Docker I have found out that the IP is different.

The issue is I cannot change it to what I need it to be??

 

Has anyone got any advice on how to get around this?

We have recently got this installed. I'll try and help as much as I can. What instructions did you follow and what system are you using to host it?

We followed the instructions on the Xibo Website. We are using Windows server 2019.

Does this command help in any way? docker run -d --ip=“192.168.20.173” xibocms

I didn't think Docker worked on Windows 2016/2019 for Xibo?

I ignored Docker completely and stuck with the usual XAMPP route.

Same. Can't see the point in running Docker when its already gonna be on its own dedicated VM.

Has anybody considered the hosted option of Xibo? Especially with them saying docker is the supported route for support. I got it Working on Windows 10 with docker but obviously that's not a server system.
