Brendan is not playing nice!

 

One tree snapped in half in the garden, decided it was safer for the rabbit to be in the house!

 

I'm in South East Kent and the wind and rain is relentless!

 

 

How has it been with everyone else?

Bit of wind, bit of rain. It's like a slightly worse than normal day in Manchester.

I got home yesterday at about 5pm.. Can't have been more than 3 minutes later, ice balls and winds so strong they were setting off people's car alarms!

 

I feel sorry for anyone caught out in it. They'll be sporting a few sore spots today.

It was awful around 12 to 4 in Dorset -cold, wet and windy and I was out with the dog who of course chose to disappear for 2 hours and then turn up on a friend's doorstep sans muzzle and tag.

We had a crazy hail storm! I just let the cat out as it wasn't raining, and in minutes of the cat going out its hammer it down with hail. I had to go outside and get the cat back in, he was hiding under the table !!

Why do they always want to go out at the bad times!

Wind is picking up again. It was calm and dry this morning. Lot of rain now.

My weather station is recording 60kph gust at the moment.

 

AND.... We have a vast new PE "tent"; a temporary structure for the duration of the build of a new gym/pool/whatever happens over there. Tent opened for business a week ago, and is now closed due to leaks.

Mrs. P 'went missing' today.

 

She went out to the garage (using its back door) but found that she couldn't return! The current windy weather was blowing against the back door so strongly it was keeping it closed 'resisting' her attempts leave the garage.

 

She did eventually return safely.
