kennysarmy Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I'm struggling to see how to get a list of PC's out of SOLUS3 that have SIMS installed? Surely there must be a way!
bknaggs Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 It doesn't look like there is an option to do it. I thought one exporting a report for a previous deployment would at least give you a report of which PCs were successful and which failed but here I just get a list of the deployments that have taken place which is pretty useless.
Chockster Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 There currently isn't a way to do it inside Solus. I use PDQ inventory to keep an eye on agent installation; a dynamic collection hunts it down for us.
jthompson Posted December 16, 2019 Posted December 16, 2019 I suspect the best you can manage is Agents > Targets > Filters for "SIMS Workstation" and the latest version. Every computer that's currently got SIMS installed will be in that list, plus any extras that had it but have been reimaged recently, etc (which tbf SOLUS can't really know about). You can then select all the rows with a shift+click, right-click to copy the computer names, paste into a text file. 1

I limit SIMs down to teacher stations and admin stations. A student machine won't have SIMs installed as 1) it doesn't need it and 2) adds a risk that students COULD access it. If a student is on a teacher PC, that's down to classroom management and teacher behaviour - NOT an IT issue.
