SCCM - Windows Update as remote sites

Hi

 

Is there a way for windows machines at our remote sites to get the windows updates direct from the main SCCM server at our main site without the need for a distribution point at each of our remote sites? SCCM is still a learning curve for me as its only been in for the last few months. All our remote sites link back to our main site via VPN and don't currently have an onsite server

You could setup and use Peer Cache at the remote site if a distribution point isn't an option:

Yes. You just. Make sure the boundry is in the same boundry group assigned to your main site.
