Short term (basically with us for a half term) - they don't get anything Longer term (here for a term or more) - they get treated like normal staff. They sign the AUP etc... They get all accounts set up, as they're expected to basically behave like a teacher. 1
enjay Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 Yeah that makes sense, but won't they have an work email through their agency, do you reckon it would be more beneficial to them to add that email to the mailing lists, rather than setting them up a new email address? Bad idea, IMHO, because: 1 - if they have a school account, you can revoke their access when they leave the school, but if the data has gone to a different address, you can't do that 2 - if you do this for your agency staff, you will then get regular teachers saying "I prefer the mail app on my phone" or "I prefer Google Mail" or "I don't want to check two addresses", and asking for their personal Hotmail address to be added to the school address book. 1
