tdh1987 Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 Hi guys We have recently set up SCCM current branch at my site. I would like to be able to deploy the very latest Adobe Creative Cloud package (1.15.0.126) that we created but it won't work. The installation initiates and you can see various installers running in task manager, but it never completes. We've tried using both the .exe and .msi and the end result is the same. Has anybody managed to deploy Creative Cloud through SCCM CB? Thanks Tom
localzuk Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I have been unable to get this to work if I include Adobe Acrobat at all. Does your package include that? Try without it. We currently only use Creative Cloud on a few admin staff machines, so we just deploy the Creative Cloud app, and let staff choose the programs they want once it is installed. We use SCCM for that.

Have you got any plans to role CC out to teaching staff/students? Aside from the cost of CC it's going to be a right b**** to roll out it seems.
Arthur Posted November 18, 2019 Posted November 18, 2019 I deploy each Adobe CC app separately using SCCM CB and haven't had any problems doing it this way.

It seems theoretically possible to use RUM to install the core CC apps. Idea being deploy a small package containing only the RUM, and then use the sccm to push a script that calls RUM to install the apps from AUS.

tdh1987 Posted November 19, 2019 Author Posted November 19, 2019 Are you deploying to 1809 or above as the 2019 versions are not supported on any win 10 version that is older. Well I'll be damned. We're using LTSB 2016 1607 here! I wish the error messages were a little more descriptive. Thank you for your help!
free780 Posted November 19, 2019 Posted November 19, 2019 I have a RDS farm that was on Server 2016 and I moved it to 2019 in the summer partly for this reason. I would be tempted to move away from LTSC as if you keep Adobe software up to date its probably not tested with LTSC.
