If you have licenses for Office 2007 then you can use the downgrade rights to install a copy of Office 2003. As far as the media is concerned you may need to contact resellers such as Ramesys to get hold of media. I think its around £20 for the media of office 2003 pro on Ramesys.

You could try Ramesys

Your local authority should be able to give you a copy. Similar to Windows you have downgrade rights. Any copy of Office you buy now would be the 2007 version, allowing you to downgrade to 2003. You'll need a 2003 media and key of course!

If SIMS depends on a component of Office 2003, this download might help:

If it actually loads Word 03 to create a document, you'll need to buy a full copy. Just thought it'd be worth checking first.

Thanks: the machine in question has Office 2000 on it so I will need to buy an upgreade.

The background is: we have two separate networks - I do the curriculum and Dorset council do the admin, but recently the computer the SEN teacher uses has been taken off my network and put on the admin network. BUT as Dorset didn't supply the machine/software etc, Dorset will not give us an Office 2003 disc!
