HELP! - Reset Student Homedrive access...

HELP!

 

My Boss just managed to wipe all my students homedrive user rights!

 

Any ideas how to restore them - APART from one by one?

 

Basically the security policy that allows them to access their individual home share on the server.... ie: \\SERVER\Share$\%USERNAME%

Take a look at NTFSFix. It allows you to change/replace/add to permissions on folders/files. It can even take the foldername as the username

Another great app from WiseSoft I have a script that does the same but this will be quicker for me to use incase I need to make changes.

we use "UMRA" for this kind of thing, does so much in AD.....
