All our staff are given a bottle of whiteboard cleaning fluid ( I can get more detail if you want) and are expected to do it themselves.

How many of them are actually doing it is another matter.....

All our boards came with cleaning fluid though most are running low now, so will have to source more.

The staff are expected to do it themselves when they use a pen on them, although we shout at them for using a pen on them at all.

Warm soapy water works quite well too. I've always been cautious using any of the standard whiteboard cleaners in case it ends up ruining the surface in the same way as it does on standard whiteboards!

We don't let staff or kids write on our IWB either but they do manage to get grubby. I've been using the stuff for years on both IWB and non-IWB. They get cleaned 2-3 times a year, and I haven't noticed any problems with the IWB; Also the product is Alcohol free
