Anyone recommend a headset suitable for VoIP?

I have been asked to find a couple of headsets for staff to use with our 3CX phone system. Does anyone use or can recommend ones that are comfortable to wear please?

Do you mean USB headsets to plug into a computer? Or headsets to plug into a physical phone?

We use Plantronic Voyager Focus. Used to use them with a Bluetooth dongle in the phone but now only use the Windows Client. The headsets also are used as our PC headphones. Our Receptionist uses either a Voyager 5200 or Legend, can never remember which.

 

Don't forget that if you are using them with Yealink phones you need a Yealink special Bluetooth dongle (BT40 I think).

We use the Plantronics HW121N here, mainly because a batch of them turned up brand new on an office clearout we did.

However, they're decent headphones and do the job well.

With our Skype for Business deployment we use:

 

Our standard model is the Plantronics Savi 440M which is wireless (Set comes with over the head, behind the head and clip over the ear clip for flexibility)

 

And for more basic deployments they get the wired Plantronics Blackwire C510-M

Plantronics are not cheap but they're the best. I like to have the "quick release" connector so I can take my bit (the headset) and use it with any kit (eg I have a phone with a Quick Release, and a PC dongle)
