Hi all,

Trying to install this Denford software onto CC3 and no matter what I try, it appears to be trying to 'overwrite' the flash.ocx file held in the system dir which fails.

"This program needs to update the flash player on this system. However it cannot do so until all instances of the Macromedia Flash Player are closed. Make sure you close any webpages or other software that uses flash, and run this application again."

Works fine as Systemadmin but not as a student.

I'm at a loss on how to make this work, short of letting it do this which worries me somewhat...

No difference from using the "Installed" version versus the RunfromCD idea.

Help appreciated.

Cheers.

Hi there, i don't seem to understand the issue, as you said it works as systemadmin, well with the RM CC3 networks you roll the program out via RMMC and should work fine surely. We have Achiever on since it came out and i dont think we had a issue. I just created the package and rolled out via RMMC.

cheers

Hi Nick,

As systemadmin it is quite happy to make the 'change' to flash.ocx in the system directory but as a student user this isn't allowed which is where I believe the error stems from.
