Hi All,

We currently have an old VMWare VM running our Bonjour relay, last thing running on that hardware so we want to take it off and replace it with whatever else can do the job. I'm not entirely sure how it was setup or how it even works! We have Ruckus which does say it can do Bonjour relay but surely this is only on the WiFi VLANs and not able to communicate with our Apple TVs which are hard wired? We have 2 WiFi networks that Bonjour needs to work from (Staff & Student) and then the Network the Apple TVs are on.

How do you guys relay your Bonjour between networks?

Our Aruba wireless controllers do it. As long as the controller can talk to the wired VLAN, that's fine. Failing that, if you have recent HPE/Aruba switches they can do it too. Otherwise Avahi running on a Linux VM.

Going to have a play now with the Ruckus one, if that doesn't work we do have newer HP/Aruba switches so give that a go. If not will try Avahi :) Cheers!
