Silica Posted June 17, 2019 Posted June 17, 2019 Hi all, I'm creating the mandatory profile for our students ready for September but come across a problem. OneDrive isn't appearing on the navigation pane in file explorer, nor is the start menu showing any applications which we've installed as part of the image. Start Menu isn't being redirected in GPO. Any ideas why these bits would be hidden?
3s-gtech Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 If the Start Menu is included in that profile, are those shortcuts actually in there? E.g AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu (I think). They won’t necessarily have copied there by default which I’ve seen happen before.

I did however drop some shortcuts in to: '..\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs' and they appeared after logging the user back in... interesting... Doing some further investigation work, I believe the issue with the start menu is being caused by a group policy which I will need to investigate... Not sure why the OneDrive shortcut in the navigation pane has disappeared though!
