Good morning

Wondering if any is able to assist with strange issue. Recently we have rebuilt some campus computers with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (1809).

Most application work as expected. However, a registration system that needs to use IE doesn't quite work and is not displayed correctly.

This what is seen:

However, this is how it should be displayed:

Sadly the company who has designed this interface only support IE (). They have suggest to apply further windows updates which have not helped at all. The interface displays as expected on all builds of Windows 10 bar LTSC 1809.

Does any one have any further suggestion?

Many thanks in advance.

Have you tried adding the URL to the compatibility view list? I know often this makes things worse! But might be able to help, also have you tried using the developer tools in IE and emulate it on different versions and see if that changes the behaviour of the site?

Can you try compatibility mode? Also start looking for a replacement...

Tried - sadly the "portal" launches a pop-up but even then it makes no difference.

Would love to get a replacement but current we don't pay for this "service" as the developers were once employees here.

Yeap - tried that. No joy

Going to explorer the option of Enterprise mode after an early lunch,

Thanks

Enterprise mode didn't work either :(

Seems that only LTSC build machines are the issue - sadly thats the build we are going to use across the board come the summer :/

any other suggestions are welcome too!

It wouldn't be anything to do with language packs would it? Did you use the 'International English' (en-GB) ISO for your LTSC 1809 builds, but the English (en-US) ISO for everything else?

Do your LTSC PCs have exactly the same GPOs applying to them as the others?

Hi Arthur;

Same GPOs being deployed - updated ADMX obtained too.

I had very little to do with base build of the 1809 LTSC image. But the language pack might be something to investigate further.

Something to re-visit on Monday

Something to do with your proxy and certain elements getting caught? Doesn’t explain why it’s only on that version, but worth double checking it’s getting through or bypassing. I wonder if it’s a mixed content error - where the images aren’t served via https?
