Hi,

 

I am looking to upgrade our main and only switch in a small primary school.

 

What are you thoughts on the switch above. Does tick all the boxes and provides PoE for phones / CCTV, including being a managed switch.

 

Plan to implement VLAN's as well

If that would be your only switch you would need a layer 3 switch to route traffic between vlans. Otherwise it is a good switch we have quite a few of them.

We use them in our sites.

If you have a router on site like a Sophos XG you can use that to route VLAN traffic

Internally, they do everything we need them to do
