Is there a easy way to give permission to subfolders within the inbox for outlook as I have to give access to another teachers inbox, but she also has loads of subfolders which she has created.

I dont fancy going to each indivual folder and set the permission.

Thanks.

No It doesn't you only have access to the top level in box and when you click the inbox you don't see the subfolders underneath.

Thats odd, i just tested it and it works.. just to clarify:

  • The subfolders are in exchange mailbox and not pst..
  • How did you give said user access to the mailbox?
  • Are the subfolders inside the Inbox?

All i did to give access was, in AD Users and Computers>Properties of Users>Exchange Advance>Mailbox rights

Oh right... i find doing it through outlook is just messy, much prefer to go straight to the root and do it that way with most things. Well hope you issue is resolved anyway.
