Nova T6 - Not show staff

Evening all. My timetabler has posed a question and I can't find the answer (had this issue before some years ago and can't remember the solution). She would like to import the timetable after Easter into SIMS but only wants to show the structure, banding and classes, but NOT, absolutely NOT the staff assigned to the classes - for obvious reasons. Is there a way to do this. Any replies gratefully received.

I am afraid I don't think there is, you can send Base Bands only and not the classes.

 

As soon as you push classes, it needs to have the staffing in.

Make a copy of the file, name it appropriately, and then go to the 'Auto' screen. Tag all the blocks and then select 'Unbuild'. Send this file across to SIMS.

This will remove all the classes from the teachers timetables, but still enable academic management etc.

 

It isn't perfect, in that if you make marksheets or have existing marksheets for the new classes, teachers will be able to see them. Also if they look themselves up in SIMS and select Staff groups from the links panel and change the effective date, then they will be able to see their classes, but it does work well to hide the groups from most staff
