Calendar sync

Hi everyone,

 

We are currently using Office 365 for our mailboxes. Users on site connect to their emails through Outlook 2016 in Cached Exchange mode. We have some shared calendars that are used by the office team but when they are viewing these shared calendars in Outlook 2016 they don't always see the same information. Google seems to suggest that perhaps instant syncing isn't currently available for this sort of setup so changes can take up to 3 hours to appear in Outlook 2016? the suggestion seems to be that if they just opened their emails in the office 365 web login then changes made to calendars would be shown instantly.

 

Does anyone have any experience of this? is what I am trying to do unsupported?
