nathan Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 We have numerous agreements (as they join the trust) and there renewal dates are all over the place. Has anyone had any experience of trying to align them? Would love to have them all end in September.
IT_JB Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Would be interested to see if anyone has been able to do this. I got the following from Microsoft when attempting to convert one of my schools agreements to a trust agreement (at the same time increasing the user count). "The customer must supply a confirmation letter that includes the company letterhead advising the details of the name change. The customer letter must designate if the name change is due to a simple name change (i.e. the company structure remains the same and is only changing its name) or if the change is due to a merger or acquisition. A simple name change will be processed by Microsoft as long as all details in the letter indicate that the structure of the company has not changed." My request was denied.
johnlevis Posted March 26, 2019 Posted March 26, 2019 Hi @nathan We're seeing this a lot and there is no simple way around it. There are 2 main problems - first, Microsoft don't do pro-rata on OVS agreements, second they will expect agreements to run to the end of the term. Give me a shout if you'd like a quick chat about what your options are. John Levis | Software and Solutions Specialist | VeryPC Tel: 0114 321 8609 very-pc.co.uk [email protected]
