Google Classroom, Admin access and managment

We've just had a scenario where a staff member has left, and hasn't transferred their classrooms. We had to do this by re-enabling the account as admins and manually transferring the classes.

 

Can't i do this centrally like teams drives?

 

Feel like im missing something?

 

Can't find anything about admin manamanger of classrooms "on the line"

 

any pointers?

As above, you can do this easily with GAM.
