bald_pig Posted March 15, 2019 Posted March 15, 2019 Has anyone else received their review booklet (and not thrown it straight in the bin)? The floorplan shown for 2020 looks like they are expanding to both halls! No idea how, they struggled to fill one this year...
ICTDirect_Dave Posted May 17, 2019 Posted May 17, 2019 I've got a floorplan current as of this week. They've reduced the length of each hall down to five doors and gone for both the north and south hall. The theory being that it is divided into specific zones. It is only slightly larger than 2019's show, but it looks like stand staces are going at a much faster rate for 2020. Hardly any spaces left.
bald_pig Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 Found this online as a floorplan for 2020 Found ICT Direct! Next to Google again! 1

That explains the new stand code format then! Looks like planning a route is going to be more important than ever this year as I suspect the concourse is going to get pretty crowded. 1
ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 That looks to be a much older floorplan than the one I have. Some parts of the layout are different and there's fewer spaces filled. Here's one for you.
bald_pig Posted January 8, 2020 Author Posted January 8, 2020 There's a line between the global stuff and the tech companies, are they planning to wall off the country stuff? You can pick it up best between HP and Qatar
ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 It's a line to show the different zones. North hall has a couple also, to split teaching tech, learning tech and management solutions
karldenton Posted January 8, 2020 Posted January 8, 2020 Thanks Dave, you got an updated south side one by any chance? Thanks -- Ignore that, just found it in your post ! 1

ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Yes..er.. Stand SD40, below google and slightly to the left. 1
witch Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Not sure I can go to the South side - isn't that the dark side?
Dos_Box Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Not sure I can go to the South side - isn't that the dark side? Not at this time of year. It's also a lot less of a walk than previous years 1
john Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 Not sure I can go to the South side - isn't that the dark side? Its the nicer side of ExCeL as you have dock views (when you put your xray glasses on or go out the side door for alternative air supply)
Dos_Box Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 I have just noticed that (and this will be helpful) stand numbers prefixed with 'N' are in the north hall and 'S' for the south hall. This means all you have to do is concentrate on the second letter for the row number then the stand number. Rows run from north to south, not east to west BTW. 1

Also, the education show stands appear to be prefixed with "ED" 1

How did you miss that and the ED for Education Show... What would be more helpful (as signage is always awful with stands that don't have number on them (bring back Olympia days where everything had numbers clearly) for them to integrate the ExCeL hall numbering as you cannot miss the N and S Numbers at both sides of the hall and they are up high so visible so use them to help as well.
GREED Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 Any decent quality version of this year's map available - not on the BETT site yet (trying to plan out my visit).
