We have a lot of Dell lattitude 3340 laptops that stand up to primary school pupils pretty well. One survived being thrown at me!

We use these (or the newer model) in Learning Support and I'd recommend them.

We've bough a few of these from HP, pretty rugged, all the specs you asked for except processor but we found them to be responsive and good enough for students' use... come in around £500

Latest dell model is the 3300.

We have them with a 5yr warranty, I3, 120 ssd, 8gb and touch screen.

Designed to endure

Tougher touch screen: The optional embedded touch screen is lightweight without sacrificing durability.

Easy to service and repair: Captive screws and a top-mounted keyboard make for easy repairs with minimal downtime, and some ports can be replaced independent of the motherboard.
