Excellent joint episode tonight, concluding on Tuesday, where receptionist clicks a link in an email saying he’s been awarded NHS Award.

Launches cyber attack where hackers take control of obs machines, patient databases, and slowly onto the fire alarm, door access control, lighting and finally the lifts.

Can’t wait for Tuesday.

Based on this thread I decided to watch it on iPlayer this morning. I am about 1/3 of the way through it.

I do think some things are OTT. For example the way they were all looking for pens like one hadn't been seen in years. Even worse was that robot catering trolley that found its way into A&E.

I don’t mind looking for pens; that bit was funny.

Catering robot I forgot about.

The first thing they should have been able to do was kill the power to the electric doors; all mine intentionally have a (hidden) local killswitch - either plug socket in ceiling or anonymous fishkey in the vicinity.

Fire alarm, alright you gotta be safe before turning it off, but why not mute it first?

I enjoyed the episode and I'm looking forward to part 2 on Tuesday.

TBH I don't see why they couldn't have broken down the theatre doors (apart from the story needing them trapped in the lift).

I didn't realise just how important the guy who had a Smartie Party (
) was, and that his account had access to so many systems. It even stopped the emergency lights coming on!
