Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed, you've just saved my school a fortune as we've upgraded the Kitchen workstation from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

We convinced Civica to send us the installation files and it included the worst written ReadMe which missed off stages. "At the end of the install 2 errors will pop up if you hit ok for the first one then ignore the second one."

I mean, don't update your installers guys, just leaving it erroring. Don't worry about an automatic updates to your software, we'll just copy/paste everything in the folder to another PC. No worries.

But ending optimistically: thank you everyone.

Just had a demo of V9, followed by a demo of CRBCunninghams offering.

I've used the latter previously but not the latest version and speaking to others, its just nigh and day for the installation side of things. Also sounds like staff jumped from Civica to CRBC too leaving not a lot left at the Civica end. Annoyingly I feel budget means I will be remaining with the current supplier but this installation is a big shoddy now. Shows things havent been developed.

@JSpaced - are the previous instructions generally correct then? I havent had a chance to follow them from start to finish to get a working till but done it in stages. If I do stay with Truste then I think I will be needing to do this.

Hi, largely the instructions WERE correct, but they were also naff. They needed a couple of readings to parse properly.

Would anyone have a copy of the installer files for trust-e software? Need to replace the desktop its on. Moving to new cashless system in Sep so not willing to pay Civica for the install.

I have follow the instructions above and can open the software and access the accounts section but the reporting is failing Error in application RGen9

I am assuming installing the software from the installer may fix it.

Thanks
