Hi all

Strange issue when I am trying to apply a bulk user action changing the charging to "automatically charge a single shared account" from "...Personal account"

On completing the action I have come to notice that this bulk action does not apply. However if I apply a bulk credit adjustment to the same group it does work. This happens across all groups that I have tested.

tested in different browsers = same symptoms

trusted local server address in Internet options under intranet and set to lowest security

Tried combining action known to work with actions known not to work eg bulk change account charge and apply a credit --> the result credits the account but doesn't change the charge destination

It seems that some bulk user actions, do not work where others do.

Anyone seen this?

Using Papercut MF 18.3 installed on Server 2016

Thanks

Have you tried selecting the group of users you wish to do this for? Are you doing this from the server or have you logged into the portal on your desktop with an account that has permissions to do so?

The only reason I say do it on a client PC, doesn't have to be domain joined either is that IE does some random things and most servers don't have say Chrome installed which I find works far better.

Just because a domain admin is a domain admin it doesn't mean its an administrator in PaperCut unless they have been made admin.

There was a bug with bulk user actions not long ago, some of them would not work for some reason. Update to 18.3.5 and all should be ok. Can't remember when it was fixed but i am sure it was a 18.3.0 that had the issue

Yes I got that. Our domain admin accounts are papercut administrators. Thanks

Sounds like you could be on to something here. The behaviour best fits an internal bug given the test I have already carried out. I will give upgrading to the latest and greatest on monday
