Hi everyone,

We are looking at trialing GSuite for our IT Teachers.

Just before the holiday I'd created a GSuite admin account, verified it against one of our domain names and created a few test users.

Upon creating my 11th account, I got a little popup telling me that I'd reached my 10 license limit.

(It looks as though I'd signed up to a trial of a paid version instead.)

Running through some of the help articles, they mentioned it would be possible to downgrade my account if I was within the 14 day trial.

I'm outside the 14 day trial. :(

Looking into it further, it does seem you can sign up for a free GSuite for non-profit organisations (these include schools).

Q: Is this where I should have been looking all along?

Q: If so, should I attempt to cancel my original account and create one here?

(I did see in the notes that the original free GSuite Legacy basic wasn't being offered to new customers after 2012...)

Thanks!

Once you've done that, you may at some point in the future hit a user/license limit once you've created a certain number of users. You'll just need to put in a request to Google for more (free for Education) because I think they just leave a fairly arbitrary limit in place until more is requested.

That's what we discovered a couple of years ago, anyway.
