stevenramsden Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 School purchased a few promethean AP4-75-4K devices few years back, these come with promethean's activconnect Gseries android devices. Originally these we used with google playstore to acquire/install new apps onto the android device. This is no longer available/possible. I have read a few articles regarding about the device not being certified with google and that the playstore is side loaded but ultimately violates googles policies. And would put the schools network at risk. Has anyone had an official line from promethean on this. I have contacted support for answers. Anyone got any of the newer Promethean touchscreens with the newer OPS android devices? are these affected too?
