Disabling release/cancel all button on Papercut

Hi All,

 

Does anyone know how to disable select/cancel all button you get when you go to release a job on papercut?

 

I have gone into the the options of Papercut and change "admin.release-station.can-release-cancel-all" to N, this didn't work.

 

I then went into the the config file on the server and change the show-print-all and show-cancel-all to N and that didn't work either.

 

Is this even a function yet or am I just making it really hard for myself?

Pretty sure this is a tick box option for each copier from the devices tab of papercut, ‘show button to release all jobs’ or something.

What you have done is remove it on the web interface release page (https://www.papercut.com/kb/Main/ReleaseAndCancelAll), what make of MFD are you using as I don't think its possible on all makes yet?

I'm running and older version, but for me it is a device setting, so go Devices, Click the MFD you want to change, in the Summary Page scroll down half way and there's a tick box for "Show button to release all pending jobs" untick that.

 

Should be it!

I am currently testing this on a Konica Minolta C558, this may need to go on other devices such as a C224 C454 etc.

This is from the Konica Minolta iOption embedded manual, not familiar with these machines but hopefully this will help.

 

7.7 The "Print All" button on the PaperCut MF screens on the device

The Print All button on the following PaperCut MF screens on the device, is available based on the following conditions:

• The PaperCut MF Home screen: The Print All button is displayed on this screen, if the device is configured as a release station or is enabled with print release (Device Details > Print Release > Enable print release). For more information, see 5.6 Device functions.

• The PaperCut MF Print Release screen:

o If using PaperCut MF 18.1.4 or below, the Print All button is displayed on this screen, if the device’s settings in the PaperCut MF Admin web interface has Show button to release all pending jobs selected (Device Details > Print Release > Enable print release > Show button to release all pending jobs). For more information, see 5.6 Device functions.

o If using PaperCut MF 18.2.0 or above, the Select all checkbox is displayed on this screen, instead of the Print All button. For more information, see 5.7.1 Held print jobs settings that can be changed at the device.
