dezt Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 We had to reboot our admin server on Friday, now the sqlany50 that runs FMS will not start. Has anyone had any problems like this before? I'm getting so much agro from the admin staff that use FMS. Please help......
PhilNeal Posted April 27, 2008 Posted April 27, 2008 I can't help I'm afraid. SupportNet is more likely to give you answers to this type of question.
dezt Posted April 28, 2008 Author Posted April 28, 2008 Just found out that FMS had to be reinstalled to sort it out. When does it go onto SQL 2005?????
WithoutMotive Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 It's already on. We had it migrated some time ago.
Ravening_Wolf Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 We also migrated some time ago - I think there is a deadline for the migration that you really better check up on with Capita.
SpuffMonkey Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 I believe that you have to go by August - but our LA insisted we go by the end of March - so you'd better check!
JoeyB Posted April 28, 2008 Posted April 28, 2008 We had to do ours before the returns went off at the end of the financial year. Definitely worth checking.
PhilNeal Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Some LAs had to go earlier because the CFR had to be done and that was only supported on the SQL Server version. Hosted users should find that the SQL Server version is a lot faster.
